The mid century modern architecture and at least one large mosaic; this is so rare in Portugal and is the highlight of the property. Some of the furniture is also original. Grupo Pestana should work with experts to preserve these original elements and make sure any newer element of decor is in accordance and tasteful. This is a national treasure from the architectural and decor perspective, it deserves care. The view is also breathtaking. Nice staff.

Location: The hotel is perfectly situated, making it convenient to explore the Gerés national park Friendly Staff: The team was incredibly welcoming Cozy Common Areas: The shared spaces, especially the lounge with the fireplace, were warm and inviting 10/10 Views: The stunning views from the windows in the common areas Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options to start the day right

The view from the hotel is beautiful! The rooms were comfortable and dinner at the restaurant was great. The staff was very helpful and nice. The location is convenient for many different trips around the park. The hotel is wheelchair accessible, but not in every room. If accessibility is an issue, make sure to request this type of room in advance.

Beautiful property, location to go to for views and tranquility, we had a very nice stay. Nice pool, we did not use it but it looked inviting. Geres mountains are magical, mountain streams, waterfalls and pixie woods just a short drive from the Pousada.
